Naturandes - Peruvian Boldo Leaves (Peumus boldus) , Bag x 60 GR :  The Boldo leaves have a strong vegetal aroma, are used for culinary and medicinal purposes, particularly in Latin America. Boldo is related to the Lauraceae family trees, which are also used for its aromatic properties, such as cinnamon and bay leaf. The Boldo is a species of the genus Peumus monotype, family of monimiáceas. Tree endemic to the central highlands of Argentina, in the southern highlands of Peru and central Chile.
 
Description:   
The Boldo (Peumus boldus) is a kind monoprint gender Peumus, of the family of the monimiáceas. Tree endemic to the central sierras of Argentina, of the sierra sur de Peru and the center of Chile. Their leaves, which have a strong flavor vegetable, are used for purposes culinary and medicinal, especially in Latin America. The boldo is related to the trees in the family Lauraceae, which are also used by its aromatic properties, such as the cinnamon and laurel.
Natural Properties:
- Stimulates the expulsion of the bile from the gallbladder, favors the digestion because it stimulates in addition the salivary glands and the gastric, is analgesic and removes the infections of urine and increases the production of urine.
- It is used with success in the gallstones, in the liver failure in the cramps and bile when infection in the gallbladder
Use of the Boldo:
* Bathrooms: boil a handful of large leaves in a flowerpot with two or three liters of water. Then strained and adds this liquid to the bathroom. Bathing for half an hour to 35 C. (You can add a cup of sea salt and a spoonful of bicarbonate). This applies for rheumatic pains.
