PROVENZAL - SEASONING FOR DRIED OLLUCO STEW , SACHET X 78 GR

Provenzal - Peruvian Seasoning for Dried Olluco Stew , Sachet x 78 Gr : It contains olluco, onion, yellow pepper, garlic. red pepper sauce, cumin, salt and pepper. This dish "Olluco with Jerky (Charqui) " was born around 1800 BC. in the Peruvian Andes and lasts until today without losing its ancestral spirit.

The olluquito with jerky (charqui) emerged of the union of its two main ingredients: Olluco, tuber cultivated on 2,800 meters and was domesticated by pre-Inca peoples in the year 4,500 BC and in parallel, the jerky (Charqui) was born in the ancient technique of dehydrated meat of Llama (Andean Auquenido) using salt.
After the first cut in small pieces and the second elongated strands, they were gathered and cooked in clay pots. Olluco is considered an important source of energy with significant benefits for food and human nutrition.

PREPARATION
1. Fry ½ a pound beef jerky, or pieces of chicken, etc.
2. Add 3 ½ cups of water and envelope content, stir and cook for about 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with rice and garnish with chopped parsley.
